The Mineta Consortium for Transportation Mobility organizes or participates in several transportation-related events each year. These include national summits, regional forums, industry conferences, or special events and broadcasts. You can find leading transportation experts at all of these events, making them an excellent resource not only for professional and research insights, but also for networking.

January 8, 2017 to January 12, 2017	Transportation Research Board 96th Annual Meeting - Washington, D.C. Researchers and staff from the Mineta Transportation Institute presented at this annual conference at the Washington Convention Center. More than 5,000 presentations in nearly 750 sessions and workshops were featured. This year’s theme was “Transportation Innovation: Leading the Way in an Era of Rapid Change Research Convergence for a Multimodal Future.”
January 7, 2017	MTI Board of Trustees Meeting - Washington, D.C. The Mineta Transportation Institute held its winter board meeting in Washington DC. Chair Nuria Fernandez, CEO of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, presided.
December 13, 2016	What Do Americans Think of Mileage Fees? - Online (sponsored by TRB) MTI’s National Transportation Finance Center Director, Dr. Asha Agrawal, and Director of Research and Technology Transfer, Dr. Hilary Nixon, analyzed three sources of information about public opinion on mileage fees. The researchers presented key findings about overall support levels for mileage fees and the specific reasons why people support or oppose them.
