The College of Business at San José State University, with support from the Mineta Transportation Institute, offers both a Master of Science degree and three graduate certificate programs.
The curriculum is led by nationally recognized instructors who are academic or industry experts. The Master's program is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The program is accelerated, which enables students to complete a Master of Science in Transportation Management degree in two and a half years. Classes are held in the evening, allowing students to work full time while earning their degrees. Students generally take one course at a time, one night per week for each 10-class session, for a total of four classes per year. Students attend these live classes online.

The Master of Science in Transportation Management (MSTM) is a fully accredited 30-unit Master's program. Most students take two and a half or three years to complete all ten courses. The curriculum consists of six required core courses, a required two-course sequence in which students prepare an independent Capstone Report (MTM 283 and 290), and two electives.
Students may choose among three graduate certificate options, each of which requires four courses:
Additional details about the curriculum are available here.
