MTI Research Associates at the upcoming TRB Annual Meeting

Many of our Mineta Transportation Institute Research Associates will be participating in the 2018 Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting in January. In addition to the events listed below, MTI will be celebrating our three award winners during the annual Council of University Transportation Centers banquet on Saturday, January 6.

Will Kempton will be recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Transportation Professional and Public Service for his tremendous contributions to the transportation profession.
Bill Chapin will receive the Neville A. Parker Award for his masters project report titled “Parking Spaces to Living Spaces: Reform and Housing Affordability in Central San Francisco.”
Aaron Vogel will receive a CUTC Student of the Year Award. He is currently a graduate student in our M.S. in Transportation Management Program.
