SoFA Pocket Park Exploration

MTI is proud to partner with the SJSU Department of Urban Planning, Communivercity, and Veggielution on this community-based project. In order to gain broad participation in a downtown community survey exploring the habits of Downtown San Jose residents and the new SoFA Pocket Park, MTI will co-host three outreach events, including two geared towards K-12 participants.

Friday October 22nd

4:00p.m. - 7:00p.m SoFA Pocket Park Exploration

• Bring your student for a Halloween goodie bag and a chance to learn about the park!
• Explore Veggielution's neighborhood/teaching garden!
• Engage with San Jose State University students to inspire your students to learn about college, careers, and their community!

Friday October 29th

10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m Farmer's Market

• Complete the survey for a special treat!
• Enjoy fresh food from local food trucks and local fruits and veggies at great prices!
• Explore artisan vendors' handcrafted goods!
• Pop into SoFA Pocket Park for more Farmer's Market Fun!

3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m  SoFA Pocket Park Exploration
