The Mineta Transportation Institute Elementary Poster Contest invites students in grades 1-6 to convey their knowledge of safe, affordable, and sustainable alternative transportation modes to passenger cars through an artistic, visually compelling image.
2024-25 Poster Contest ThemeThe Earth is much hotter than it used to be, and it’s only getting hotter. Storms, wildfires, and other natural disasters are becoming more common. Gasoline-powered cars and trucks are one of the biggest causes of climate change—but the world is making a change! More and more people are walking, biking, taking the bus, and using electric cars to help. This change helps everyone, but it also comes with challenges. That’s where you come in! Can you find ways to help everyone switch to transportation that is good for the planet and our communities? Let’s Get Going, Go Green, and build a better transportation future for all!
This year's contest is co-sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). |
