Auditing Walking Conditions at SJSU Main Campus Entrance Points

You are here

This research will assess pedestrian conditions at heavily used entrance points along the perimeter of San José State University's Main Campus. Using structured walk audits and pedestrian intercept surveys, SJSU graduate students in urban planning will document existing walking conditions and identify opportunities to improve pedestrian accessibility, safety, and connectivity between the campus and surrounding city streets. The research team will analyze and visualize the collected data to develop recommendations for potential improvements to pedestrian infrastructure and the walking environment near campus entrances.
