Katerina Earnest

Katerina Earnest first joined MTI as a student assistant in 2023. She currently serves as MTI's Design & Program Coordinator. In this role, she develops and executes visual communications strategies that support MTI’s mission to increase mobility for all through research, education, workforce development, and technology transfer. Katerina manages digital and print design projects, contributes to the Institute’s social media and web presence, and creates materials that advance MTI’s programs and events. She also supports workforce development initiatives, assists with event coordination, and collaborates with researchers & other organizations.

Katerina earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from San José State University, where she received the Faculty Citation Award for outstanding creativity, dedication, and hard work, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top 5% of her class.

Her technical skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom), 3D modeling (Womp, Blender, Fusion 360), coding languages (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript), as well as Figma, Framer, Miro, Webflow, and Canva.
