Candice A. Kelly, MBA

Candice A. Kelly has over 20 years of professional experience in communications and marketing management, including a Communications Administrator position with the Alameda Contra-Costa Transit District in Oakland, CA from 2020 to 2023.  She is proud to boast her contributions toward AC Transit receiving multiple, first-place AdWheel Awards by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) which recognizes marketing, communications, and customer experience efforts toward Educational Initiatives and Workforce Development.

Candice has taught the MTM203 Course for Transportation Marketing Communications Management with MTI since 2022. Also, she previously taught marketing courses at Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business. Candice’s background before teaching extensively entailed sales leadership roles in the tourism, lodging, and travel industry.

Currently, Ms. Kelly is pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration at Auburn University and is working with their College of Engineering to help students advance career readiness competencies such as communication, professionalism, and other essential, soft skills.

In addition, Candice remains dedicated to her local chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, a non-profit, community service organization of which she is a lifelong member.
