This research focused on the following key research questions: What is the background and current state of the research in supply chain risk management’s transportation dimension? What work has been completed by existing transportation and supply chain scholars and organizations, and published in either peer reviewed or professional journals? What are the future research needs and what is the path forward for the development of practical policies, programs and technologies to enhance supply chain risk management’s transportation dimension?
