Smarter Construction: Using AI and Digital Models to Build Greener, Compliant Infrastructure

As cities grow and infrastructure projects expand, meeting strict environmental regulations and sustainability goals has become a major challenge. Traditional compliance checks are slow, prone to errors, and struggle to keep pace with changing project conditions. This research initiative is tackling this problem by combining cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Building Information Modeling (BIM) to revolutionize how we build. This innovative system will use AI to design greener construction alternatives, monitor compliance in real time, and adapt as conditions change. It will also integrate data from smart sensors that track environmental factors like dust, noise, and water quality to help projects stay on track and eco-friendly. This research shows how technology can transform the way we build for a better future by helping design and build infrastructure construction faster, safer, and more sustainably so that we can save time, reduce risk, and support healthier communities.
