International Seminar: High-Speed Technologies on Railway Systems

About the Event

Attend a High-Speed rail seminar with international experts sharing specialized knowledge of railway technologies. The seminar is oriented to qualified professionals, graduate engineers, local SBEs and senior students with interest in this field. It will provide and expand a qualified workforce for the development of HSR in California. Additionally, it’s an opportunity to bring students into contact with international leaders and companies in these technologies. 

The event is structure into two periods:

First Period: May 22-23, 2018

Day 1 - Update on the HSR California Program and Worldwide Trends (May 22, 2018, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)

Day 2 - Traction Power Technologies Basic Concepts and Real Cases Discussion (May 23, 2018, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Second Period: October, 2018, dates & details to come

Registration Information

General: $400 (one day); $1200 (four days) 

Small Business Enterprise (SBE): $250 (one day); $750 (four days)
