Admissions Criteria

Candidates for the Master of Science in Transportation Management (MSTM) program must apply for formal admission to San Jose State University (SJSU) and have an undergraduate degree in any major from an accredited institution. Admission to SJSU requires that the candidate has a calculated grade point average (GPA) of 2.5. Admission into the MSTM program requires a target GPA of 3.0 and a target Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of 500 (based on scores from both verbal and analytical sections of the GMAT exam). However, admission may be possible without meeting both targets, and entry into the MSTM program is always evaluated on an individual basis. Please contact the program staff if you are not sure whether you can meet these qualifications.

Admission to the Certificate program requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution (any major). The GMAT is not required for a Certificate.
