Mineta Transportation Institute conducts two
kinds of RFPs. One is for Seed Grants and the
other for Research Projects. The following
material covers both programs.
San
José State University Faculty Seed
Grant RFP
The
MTI seed grant program encourages San
José State University faculty
involvement in the Mineta
Transportation Institute research
program. Grants up to $5,000 are
available, subject to available
funding. There is no deadline, but
projects should be related to a future
grant cycle. The file below contains
an explanation of the program and
includes the application form.

Request for Proposals
The following files are for use in the 2008-2009 Request for Proposals cycle. All proposals are due on Friday, May 30, 5:00 p.m. PDT. The Proposal and Submittal Forms should be saved on the user’s hard drive and completed. Follow submittal directions in the RFP document.
