Work Background:
Currently, Andru Peters is Manager of Logistics at Meyer Corporation.
Previously, he has been an independent consultant in Operations Materials
and Manufacturing Management. His background includes line management,
consulting, and academic experience in the functional areas of Materials
Management, Management Information Systems, Manufacturing Operations,
Logistics, Transportation, and Physical Distribution Management.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Peters was a Materials Manager for high
technology electronic manufacturers and aerospace companies. His
responsibilities included developing materials management staff, functions
and systems in growing companies, as well as establishing procedures and
controls for the larger established firms.
He has also been involved in companies who are restructuring their
organizations, reimplementing manufacturing systems, and assisted in
operations right-sizing, restructuring, and reorganizing of materials
organizations.
