Work Background:
Dr. Oestreich is a certified trainer at the National Transit Institute. He
has taught all areas of Human Resource Management, Labor Relations and
Conflict Management. He is a professional labor arbitrator, mediator,
factfinder and former human resource manager. He has published over 30
full length labor arbitration decisions in professional reference work
such as Commerce Clearing House and Bureau of National Affairs. He has
over 20 years experience in human resource consulting and training. He is
a Dispute Resolution Associate of the American Bar Association. Dr.
Oestreich previously submitted a research proposal through IISTPS with
Fernando Gapasin. He is thoroughly familiar with the research literature
on cooperative labor management relations in the transit industry.
