Work Background:
Dr. Lee has served on transportation policy boards at Carleton College and
for the St. Paul-Minneapolis Metropolitan Council. He earned Masters
degrees in Transportation Engineering and City Planning at UC-Berkeley and
served as an MTC intern in 1983. As a consultant, he served responsibly on
dozens of transportation and land use planning and policy studies,
including a statewide analysis of congestion management programs. He
taught transportation policy courses at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. Several publications are forthcoming, including an
examination of long-distance commuters in California. As a senior lecturer
at Massey University, he is researching transportation/environmental
issues from both U.S. and New Zealand contexts.
