Work Background:
Mr. Jenkins has devoted the past 25 years to the study of terrorism and
international crime. After joining RAND Corporation in 1972, he planned
and led the first government-sponsored research projects on terrorism, and
later became the Director of RAND's Subnational Conflict Research Program,
a position he held until his departure from RAND in 1989. He also chaired
RAND's Political Science Department from 1986-1989.
He joined KROLL Associates in 1989 where his responsibilities as Deputy
Chairman of the corporation include supervising their investigative and
security consulting work on terrorism. He consults with several government
agencies and is currently a member of the White House Commission on
Aviation Safety and Security.
Mr. Jenkins is the author of several books, and has written numerous
articles, over one hundred RAND reports, and is editor-in-chief of TVI
Report.
