ROD DIRIDON

Work Background:
Mr. Diridon served for 20 years as a member of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and Transit District Board of Supervisors and has served as Chair of each five times. He has chaired the San Francisco Bay Area Metropolitan Transportation Commission and is International Chair of the American Public Transit Association as well as Vice Chair of the Americas Committee of the International Transit Association (UITP). During 1969 to 1976, prior to elected office, he founded the Decision Research Institute which published over 100 policy research reports and articles. Note: Mr. Diridon is a member of the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (CalTrain).
