Work Background:
Dr. Botha has sub-contracted with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, to study
implementation of new technology on road pricing policies. He has managed
a project to implement toll roads in South Africa. The project included
all aspects of toll roads, including overall policy, pricing policy and
funding issues. He also studied the role of transit and paratransit in
rural communities in Alaska for TRANSNOW.
