Summer
Transportation Institute (STI)
is a four-week-on-campus session.
Sponsored by San José State University, and the
Mineta Transportation Institute. Its
purpose is to introduce high school students to
principles of transportation systems development,
construction, management, technology, intermodalism
and environmental impact. This exposes high school
students to the opportunities that exist in the
transportation industry and to stimulate interest in
pursing education in this field.
