Information about the Transportation project started by the

INRETS
- Institut National de Recherche sur les Transports et leur
Sécurité (France) - (French and English) The INRETS is a
state-financed scientific and technological body under the
dual administrative supervision of the Ministry of Research
and the Ministry of Transport. Its tasks include: (1)To
organize, execute and assess technological research and
development concerned with the improvement of the means and
systems of transport and of traffic from technical, economic
and social viewpoints.(2)To carry out evaluative and
advisory studies within these domains. (3) To promote the
results of these research and study programme, to contribute
to the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and

Institute of Transportation, Highway,
and Railway-Engineering (Switzerland) - (English
and German) The Institute, a division of the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology, is divided into three groups:
individual traffic, public transport, and rural and
environmental planning. The site contains detailed
information about the research activities of the group. Also

National Transportation Agency of Canada - The
National Transportation Agency (NTA) is an independent body
that reports to Parliament through the Minister of
Transport. This site contains documents concerning air,
rail, marine, and motor vehicle transport; information for

decisions. Documents are searchable, and available in
English and French.
