Admission Process for Prospective Students to the
CTM/CTSM and MSTM Programs

Registration is a two step process:

Step One: ENROLLMENT

Prospective CTM/CTSM Students: Complete Online Enrollment Form for the Graduate Certificate in Transportation Management Program (CTM).
Instructions: 1) Fill out the electronic form, 2) print out the filled out form, 3) sign & date the form, 4) attach a $35.00 application fee and 5) mail to the address on the application.

OR: Prospective MSTM Students: Complete the application form for formal admission to SJSU/Master of Science in Transportation Management Program (MSTM).

Note: You must be admitted into either the MSTM or CTM program before you can register for classes.

Step Two: REGISTRATION

The Graduate Transportation Education Program divides its fall and spring terms into two sections, “A”: and “B”. This applies to courses in the MSTM and CTM programs. Please be careful to note which section you are applying for. Remember you must both, (1) register for a class (after enrolling in a program), obtain student ID number, then (2) pay tuition.

  1. Click here for Online Registration for courses in the current academic year: Registration can sometimes take from seven to ten business days. Your student ID number will be emailed to you by Admissions & Records.
  2. Once you have registered for class and received your student ID number form Admission & Records you can then pay your tuition. Tuition payments can be made through the following methods:
    (1) In Person: You may pay by the following methods: ATM Debit Card, Cash, or Check.
    (2) Online: ATM Debit Card, Credit Card or E-Check.

    If you chose to pay Online, go to the following link and follow the prompts: http://www.sjsu.edu/bursar/fees/methods/.
    Please note the links to In Person or Online are the same. Once in the site, click on the method you wish and follow the prompts.

Tuition is due and payable according to the SJSU calendar which can be found at: http://www.sjsu.edu/bursar/beginhere/calendar/.

Refunds are available to students only if courses are dropped in a timely manner. Please go to the following link to view the refund table: http://iesweb.sjsu.edu/specialSession/refund.html.
